On May 17, 2011, Jeff Milman spoke at the Forensic Expert Witness Association "The Role of the Medical Expert - From Consultant to Courtroom" at the Radisson Hotel in Newport Beach. The presentation focused on the aspects of an expert witness's role in the medical litigation process. Mr. Milman outlined what every expert needs to know when assuming an assignment and present invaluable tips on "how not to get ambushed" along the way. He also walked through the retention of an expert as a consultant and the deposition and trial experience.
